HOPE SPONSORSHIPS

New Hope Preservation Sponsorship Opportunities

For 157 years, New Hope A.M.E. Church has stood as a testament to faith, freedom, resilience, and community. Founded by formerly enslaved people, it became a sacred place for worship, education, and belonging. Their sacrifice built a foundation that continues to serve generations.

Today, we invite you to partner with us in preserving this historic legacy for future generations.

PRESERVE THE HISTORIC SANCTUARY

CONTINUE THE MISSION

Give future generations a strong spiritual home from which faith and service can continue
to grow.

THEIR FAITH. OUR FOUNDATION.

This campaign is an invitation to honor those who built New Hope, restore the spaces they entrusted to us, and ensure that hope continues to rise from these grounds for generations to come.

WHAT IS AT STAKE?

MEMORY ALONE CANNOT PRESERVE A LIVING LEGACY.

Today, unsafe conditions prevent the congregation from holding services in the main sanctuary. A sacred space built to gather people in hope now stands unable to receive them.

THE SANCTUARY

THE LIFE CENTER

THE LIFE CENTER

The congregation is displaced from its main worship space because conditions are no longer safe. The restoration will preserve the historic facade and exterior character while renewing the entire interior for safe, accessible, sustainable use.

Reopening the sanctuary means restoring the spiritual heart of New Hope.

THE LIFE CENTER

THE LIFE CENTER

THE LIFE CENTER

The Life Center also requires rehabilitation to safely support ministry, education, fellowship, youth and senior programs, outreach, and partnerships that serve the wider community.

Renewing this space means strengthening New Hope’s ability to serve beyond Sunday morning.

A GIFT THAT ENDURES

The founders of New Hope could not know the names of everyone who would one day worship on these grounds. Still, they built for people they would never meet. This campaign asks us to offer the same kind of faith to generations we may never see.
